MANILA, AR (KAIT) - Hydrocodone and antibiotics were stolen from a Region 8 drug store Saturday morning.
According to an incident report from the Manila Police Department, a burglary alarm went off at Delta Drug Store around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
The alarm company notified police that the alarm was tripped at the front door and there was motion inside the building.
Once officers arrived, they found the front door open and the alarm going off. No one was inside.
Pharmacist Loy Jackson then arrived and reviewed surveillance video with police.
The footage showed a man in what appeared to be an older model, white Chevrolet suburban drop off three people at the front door of Delta Drug Store.
The three, who had their faces and hands covered, then entered the building and stole prescription medications from the shelves.
The incident report stated the suburban then went around the building. The driver got out of the car and opened up the rear driver's side door.
Moments later, the three suspects left the building, got back into the car and took off.
Jackson told police he was going to have an inventory conducted to determine exactly what was stolen.
During a quick examination of the store shelves, Jackson was able to determine that bottles of antibiotics and Hydrocodone were taken.
