COLLEGE CITY, AR -

Williams Baptist College’s Bancroft History Society, in conjunction with the WBC Physical Plant and City of College City, will host a cleanup at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Saturday, April 16, from 1 until 3 p.m.

The historic cemetery, established circa 1878, is located next to the Harty-Blackwood Gateway at the main Williams entrance.

People of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Participants will primarily be cleaning gravestones and assist in straightening fallen markers.

Supplies will be provided, but attendees may bring extra buckets and non-abrasive brushes.

Those planning to attend should contact Davis Fetzer at blackbelt.0809@yahoo.com by April 13 to ensure adequate amounts of cleaning supplies.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the same time on the following Saturday.
