Police arrest woman accused of shooting at boyfriend

STEELE, MO (KAIT) - A Missouri woman faces felony assault charges after police say she shot at her boyfriend.

In the early morning hours of April 9, Steele police responded to a shots fired call on South Elm Street, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page.

The victim told police his girlfriend shot at him while he was outside his home.

Officers arrested Kimberly Turner, 30, of Steele after finding the handgun used in the alleged shooting.

Turner is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

She is being held in the Pemiscot County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash-only bond.
