(KAIT) - If you have bought potato salad or macaroni salad recently, check the date on the container.
Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. of Beaverton, Oregon has issued a recall for 19 of their refrigerated salad items.
The recall comes due to the notification from an ingredient supplier that Listeria monocytogenes may be present in one lot of onions used to make the salads.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the products are sold in plastic containers and marked with a use by date and "#10" at the end.
No illnesses have been reported.
Reser's refrigerated salads are distributed to retailers across the country, including Arkansas and Missouri.
Do not eat these products if you have them. Return them to the store you bought them from.
