UPDATE: Deputies search for owner of burned vehicle

CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

April 18 UPDATE: According to Cross County Sheriff J.R. Smith, the vehicle that was destroyed was stolen from a man in West Memphis.

He said they are currently looking for the person responsible for the crime.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the Cross County Sheriff's Department.

The Cross County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help identifying a burned car.

According to a press release, the vehicle was found burned along with some women's clothing.

If you can identify who the vehicle belongs to, call Captain Curt Swan at (870) 238-5700.
