SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - A string of car break-ins at Harding University has students double checking their cars.
According to the NBC affiliate in Little Rock, more than a dozen cars were broken into this week.
Searcy police say, in all, officers are investigating 15 cases.
Among the items stolen were cash and a radio.
Harding senior Rachel Young said she was surprised to learn of the break-ins.
She typically leaves her car unlocked, but that will change. "I started thinking… I shouldn't do this as much," Young told the NBC affiliate.
Searcy police have no suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Searcy Police Department at (501) 268-3531.
