PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - The likes of Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella, Rum Tum Tugger and Mr. Mistoffelees are chasing the bright lights of the stage at the Collins Theatre in Paragould.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS makes its way to the stage this month.
"Cats of all sizes and all shapes are here," Vicki Bishop-Nigro, director of CATS, said.
Nigro also plays the role of Grizabella.
"There's almost 40 of them on stage. Believe me, it's taken a village. We've got a great group of crew and we've got our cast. It's a production that everybody should be thrilled with," Nigro said.
Ten years ago, CATS was featured on the Collins Theatre stage.
"I choreographed then," Shannon Worthington said. "At that time, not everyone danced. This time the goal was for everyone that is on stage to dance at one time or another and they all have done it. They have done so well. Dancers and non-dancers. It's been fantastic. They have shown up. They've put their all into it."
CATS runs April 14, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 & $7. You can get tickets by calling 870-573-6454 or 870-335-8971.
