Man arrested on multiple drug charges

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Bono man who was arrested earlier in the week for drugs is back in jail for similar charges.

According to Jonesboro police, Michael Dean Lozano, 41,  was standing in the Deluxe Inn parking lot at the 400-block of South Gee Street with the intent to sell drugs around 11 p.m. Friday.

Lozano was on probation after being arrested earlier this week for similar charges.

Officials heard he would be selling illegal drugs out of his room.

He avoided police when they questioned him about selling drugs.

After a request to search Lozano's room, officials found drugs including methamphetamine and marijuana, the report stated.

Police also found three green pills inside of a mint container.

Lozano was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center.

He faces several charges including possession of meth or cocaine, less than 2 grams; possession of a Schedule IV or V controlled substance less than 28 grams; and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance less than 4 ounces.
