Warrants obtained for Jonesboro shooting suspects

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police have obtained bench warrants for two men suspected of shooting at multiple homes and vehicles Monday night.

Officers are looking to arrest Darius Sills, 21, and Kevin Spratt, 17.

According to the affidavit, officers responded to the area of West Acre and Fairview in reference to houses and vehicles being hit by bullets.

When they arrived, several vehicles were leaving from the scene.

Officers pulled over one car that was described as the one the shooters were in.

The woman in that vehicle said Spratt and Sills got into her car after a man fighting in the area pulled out a gun.

She said Spratt and Sills started shooting at the large group of people gathered there from the back seat of her car.

She then left the scene and dropped the men off on the north side of town.

The bench warrants are for a terroristic act.

Paul Holmes, the public information specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department, said Spratt will be charged as an adult in this case.

If you know where police can find these men, call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.

Sills was also charged with battery and aggravated robbery in a 2014 shooting. Police said that shooting was drug-related.

Sills was also the victim of a shooting in May 2014.
