AR teens found during human trafficking arrest

(KAIT) - Two Arkansas teens were found at the scene of a human trafficking arrest in Maryland.

A California man was arrested on multiple counts of human trafficking and prostitution Tuesday night after a 911 call for domestic violence.

That is according to WBFF-TV in Baltimore.

Charlton Jeanpierre, 39, of Hayward, Calif., was arrested after a witness told officer they saw him dragging a woman out of a vehicle.

Officers called in detectives who specialize in human trafficking after talking to one man and two teens on the scene.

According to investigators, detectives gathered details indicating that Jeanpierre was likely trafficking two 18-year-old girls from Arkansas.

Jeanpierre had a large amount of cash with him along with personal IDs belonging to both women and a bag with multiple cell phones, travel information and condoms.

One of the women reportedly told officers that Jeanpierre drove her to appointments where she performed sex acts for money.
