RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - An early morning wreck in Randolph County sent a woman and child to the hospital and landed the driver under an investigative hold at the sheriff's department.
According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, the single-vehicle wreck happened around 4:30 Thursday morning just south of Reyno on Highway 67.
Sheriff Tribble said the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree. No one was ejected.
However, a 2-year-old was taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis and a female passenger was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Sheriff Tribble said the driver is not facing any charges right now but the wreck is under investigation.
