Pedestrian struck, killed in Stoddard County

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A Missouri man died after being hit by a car in Stoddard County Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, it happened around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 60, two miles east of Dudley.

Jamie D. Sifford, 38, of Bloomfield was walking in the driving lane when Tommy R. Winn, 66, of Cadiz, KY hit him with his 2016 Kia Sorrento.

Sifford was pronounced dead at the scene by deputy coroner Greg Mathis.

Linda K. Winn, 66, also of Cadiz, KY was a passenger in the vehicle.

She was taken by ambulance to the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County to be treated for minor injuries.
