CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A child was bitten by a dog while riding his bike in Craighead County.
A Craighead County sheriff's deputy responded to the 100-block of County Road 636 on a dog bite call Sunday.
When he arrived, a family friend told the deputy the victim was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center by ambulance.
The deputy then made contact with the owner, Robert Wilson, who said the dog belongs to his mother.
The deputy told Wilson he had to quarantine the dog for 10 days.
The victim's mother told the deputy that her son was riding his bike on CR 636 when the dog attacked.
She said the dog bit her son on both of his legs and scratched his right leg.
