Television set stolen from Jonesboro hotel

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are investigating after a woman checked out of a hotel and took the television with her.

Officers responded to the Days Inn, 2904 Phillips Dr., in response to the theft around 10:30 a.m. Friday.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department incident report, the desk clerk told officers they realized a 40” LG HDTV was missing from the room after a guest checked out.

Officers could not get a return on the California driver’s license the hotel had on file.
