PIGGOTT, AR (KAIT) - Clay County sheriff's deputies arrested two Piggott women after receiving a tip that they were engaging in "possible drug activity."
After receiving permission from the landlord, deputies and Piggott police officers searched a Court Street home Friday afternoon.
Investigators found "numerous items of felony drug paraphernalia," according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Deputies arrested Vonceil Lockard, 55; and Micah Walker, 31, both of Piggott and took them to the Clay County Detention Center.
At the jail, Lockard reportedly told deputies and jail staff she had "something concealed on her person."
A matron searched Lockard and retrieved 3.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a small amount of suspected marijuana, the release stated.
Lockard was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).
Walker was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both women are being held in lieu of $25,000 bond each.
