CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A Great Dane will be quarantined at home after biting a man Saturday.

According to a Craighead County Sheriff’s Department incident report, Deputy Bobby Swan responded to the dog bite around 6 p.m.

A man said he was walking down Craighead County Road 620 when he walked past a minor walking a Great Dane.

The man said the child had the dog on a leash and was trying to hold him back, but the dog attacked the man and bit his arm.

The man agreed that the dog could be quarantined in the home.

Deputy Swan told the dog owner about the quarantine.

The owner did not have the animal’s vaccination records since he just got the dog.

He is supposed to contact Animal Medical Center, where the dog received his vaccinations, to get the records.
