CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man after a woman said he hit her and pulled her hair out, all in front of her children.

According to a Craighead County Sheriff’s Department report, a deputy responded to a home in the 200-block of County Road 377 for a domestic disturbance call around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Deputy Mike Lawrence said in his report the victim told him she and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Matthew Stone of Jonesboro, were lying in bed when they began to argue.

She said Stone hit her in the face and then jumped on top of her and pulled her hair.

The victim said she grabbed her phone and left after they fought.

She said her two children were at the foot of the bed when the fight happened.

Deputy Lawrence noted the victim’s nose was red and bleeding and she had a red mark on her left eyelid.

Sheriff’s deputies issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for Stone.
