Warrant issued for man suspected of stealing $36,000 earrings

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a man suspected of stealing a $36,000 pair of earrings from a Jonesboro jewelry store.

Earl Barber, 35, is suspected of entering Sissy's Log Cabin, 2900 Parkwood, with an unidentified African-American woman on April 14 and running out with a pair of diamond earrings.

On Tuesday, Detective Mike Branscum obtained a bench warrant for Barber's arrest for theft of property.

Barber is described as being 5'10", weighing 155 pounds.

Police believe he lives in the Memphis area and spends time in Florida.
