Several sex offenders arrested for non-compliance

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Several sex offenders were arrested this week during a multi-jurisdiction operation to check their compliance.

According to a press release from the Blytheville Police Department, the investigation lasted several months.

Blytheville police worked with the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Service in the investigation.

The operation lasted three days. Police visited and checked on 70 offenders during that time.

While most were in compliance, warrants were obtained for 10 sex offenders who were not.

Nine arrests were made for failure to register. Two of those offenders also had active failure to appear warrants and two were cited for improper identification.

Six others were also arrested for parole violations.

The following is a list of those arrested:

  • Alan Ring, 36: Failure to register
  • Bobby Freeman, 32: Failure to register, Parole violation
  • Bobby Wall, 48: Failure to register, Parole violation
  • David Greene, 33: Failure to register
  • Gene Cook, 43: Failure to register
  • Jamie Renfro, 28: Failure to register, Parole violation
  • James Crawford, 66: Failure to register, Parole violation
  • Lexia Beaver, 29: Failure to register, Parole violation
  • Norman Bohm, 57: Failure to register
  • Timmy Woods, 35: Failure to register, Probation violation
  • Tyler King, 22: Failure to register, Sexual indecency with a child
