BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A Blytheville man accused of robbing a business at gunpoint last week was arraigned Monday.

A judge found probable cause to charge Larry Perkins, 49, with aggravated robbery.

His bond was set at $75,000.

According to the Blytheville Police Department, officers responded to Mailboxes and Beyond on Main Street Thursday.

When they arrived, employees told the officers a man came into the store wanting to cash a check.

The employees opened the cash drawer.

The employees said the suspect demanded all of the money and threatened to kill everyone in the store.

The man left the scene with the money in a red vehicle.

A short time later, Arkansas State Police pulled over a vehicle matching the suspect’s car description.

Perkins was the driver.

The trooper said Perkins also matched the description of the suspect and had the money on him.

He will appear in court again June 30.
