BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Elroy Brown, director of Blytheville's Parks and Recreation Department, confirmed Friday that a sex offender recently arrested had worked for his department.
On Monday, police arrested Bobby Laderrel Freeman, 32, for failure to register as a sex offender (social media) and for parole violation.
He was one of 10 men taken into custody as part of "Operation MISSCO n May."
Brown told Region 8 News that, prior to his arrest, Freeman had worked in Parks and Recreation.
The city fired Freeman after learning of his arrest and sex offender status.
