Kennett police investigate gun store burglary

KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - The Kennett Police Department is investigating a large burglary from a gun store Thursday.

According to a press release posted on the department's Facebook page, officers responded to an alarm at Bootheel Guns and Ammo around 2:30 a.m.

When officers arrived they noticed a window was broken out.

The business owner came to the store and determined that around $6,000 in merchandise was missing.

Police are still investigating this case and did not release any suspect information at this time.
