The Blytheville Police Department shared information on their Facebook page Monday from the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department concerning the disappearance of 9-year-old Carlie Trent.

An Amber Alert was issued for Trent on May 5 after police say she was taken from her school in Rogersville, TN by her uncle, Gary Simpson, 57. Simpson no longer has custody of the girl.

The possible sighting in southeast Missouri was on Sunday, the police post states.

Trent may have been spotted on Highway 61 around 2 p.m. around the Caruthersville/Braggadocio exit.

The child was seen wearing a gray or white baseball cap and was in an older model van.

There is a reward being offered for information that leads to finding her.
