Concert to benefit Ozark Foothills Literacy Project

BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Tickets are now on sale for the Rockin’ & Readin’ Concert to benefit the Ozark Foothills Literacy Project.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Barnett Building on Main Street in Batesville. It will feature local artists The Jokers and Pres Ellis.

Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at Citizen’s Bank, FNBC, Carly’s Hallmark, and the Ozark Foothills Literacy Project.

Ticket prices include drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

The Literacy Project--which serves Fulton, Sharp, Izard and Independence Counties—teaches adults who are learning to read and adults who are learning English.

It relies on trained volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring for its adult students.
