ST. PAUL, MN (RNN) – Alert the Scooby Gang, someone stole their Mystery Machine van and crashed it into a house in St. Paul, MN.
Police responded to the call at 3 a.m. Friday morning, two teenagers were found hiding near the scene, but police had nothing to tie them to the crime, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
No word if they’ve asked for help from Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy or Scooby Doo himself.
The owner last saw the custom-painted van parked outside of his house, and the keys were inside his home.
Zoinks! They would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for that meddling house in the way. Suspects located. pic.twitter.com/UhSA5FDpaJ— St. Paul Police PIO (@sppdPIO) May 13, 2016
The police had a little fun with the crime, tweeting out a photograph and using Shaggy’s signature phrase “Zoinks!”
No one was injured in the crash.
