Names released in Walnut Ridge shooting

WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

Update: Walnut Ridge Police Chief Chris Kirksey said Scott Treadaway is expected to be charged with first-degree battery in connection to the Saturday night shooting. 

Kirksey said Treadaway was in a dispute with his wife Debbie Treadaway when he picked up a gun and shot her. 

He said they believe she is in stable condition. 

Kirksey said Scott Treadaway had a bond hearing Monday where Judge Adam Weeks gave him a $50,000 cash bond. 


The Walnut Ridge Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night.

According to Chief Chris Kirksey, police were called to the 600-block of SW. 3rd Street in reference to a shooting.

A suspect was arrested for the shooting and a victim was taken to the hospital.

The incident is still under investigation. The victim and suspect's names have not been released.
