BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Harrison man is facing multiple felony charges related to several break-ins and thefts reported last year in Baxter County.
Steven Allen Miller, 51, was served an outstanding bench warrant Wednesday for those charges.
He has been locked up in the Boone County Detention Center in Harrison for several months after his arrest on charges in that county.
Miller was taken to Baxter County Wednesday to be served with the outstanding warrant. He appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court on May 12.
Officers arrested his son, Donald Joseph Miller, on similar charges on August 23, 2015.
He was arrested in Lakeview when the vehicle both men were in was pulled over.
Steven fled on foot.
The vehicle they were in was stolen out of Harrison.
Police identified Steven as a suspect in at least nine separate incidents of breaking or entering. Investigators say he broke into multiple storage units by cutting the locks.
The stolen items included a radio-controlled boat and airplane, porcelain dolls, personal documents and golf clubs among other things.
Authorities later found some of the items at a house in Boone County after serving a search warrant.
Steven is charged with 41 felony counts of breaking or entering, five felony counts of theft of property, one felony count of theft by receiving, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He also faces 18 misdemeanor charges for theft of property, 54 misdemeanor charges for criminal mischief and misdemeanor fleeing.
Steven returned to the Boone County Detention Center after appearing in Baxter County Circuit Court.
His bond is $85,000 for the Baxter County charges.
