Teen tried as adult in murder case pleads guilty, sentenced

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A teenager accused of killing a man in Blytheville a year ago has plead guilty.

Court documents show Micah Hamon, who is now 18, entered the guilty plea on Monday on a charge of second-degree murder.

He was sentenced to 30 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Hamon was 17 when he was accused of killing 49-year-old Lawless Kennedy in April 2015.
