GCT seniors take a walk down memory lane

GCT Seniors Pay Respects to the Past

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A significant milestone for Greene County Tech Seniors Thursday morning. They completed the first senior walk at the Greene County Tech Primary School.

Several schools have been doing senior walks to mark the end of the school year, but for this year's GCT High School Seniors, this walk was sentimental because they were the first students to go to school at the new GCT Primary building 12 years ago.

The seniors high-fived current GCT Primary School students lined down the same hallways the seniors once roamed.

"It's really nice to come back and remember where I had some really amazing teachers and time with friends when we were about that tall," said Will Robbins, a GCT senior and class valedictorian. "It's an honor because a bunch of kids now don't necessarily have role models. So, I'm glad that we're able to come back and set an example for them to do their best, work hard and follow their dreams because that's how you get ahead in life."

GCT seniors graduate May 20 at the Arkansas State University Convocation Center.
