Three Region 8 cities make most dangerous list

(KAIT) - A poll conducted by Gallup has ranked three Region 8 cities in the top 30 most dangerous cities in America.

Blytheville comes in at 14th, Kennett at 16th and Poplar Bluff at 21st.

Blytheville is up from 27th in the last survey, Poplar Bluff is up from 16th place and Kennett made the list after not being in the last survey.

To gather information for the poll, the company reviewed the most recent FBI Crime Report statistics as well as population data.

After gathering that information, the company evaluated the cities based on the number of reported violent crimes and property crimes in each city.
