VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE) -

A Vanderburgh County Republican caucus has elected Sean Selby to run for Commissioner in November. Selby is the founder and CEO of a tech consulting business called Integricore.

He's a 2005 graduate of USI, where he was the Executive Chairman of the College Republicans.

Selby will face Democrat Ben Shoulders for the 1st district seat. Dale McCuiston created the vacancy when he dropped out of the primary for health reasons.

The Republicans also have a ballot vacancy for coroner. The caucus authorized party chairman Wayne Parke to appoint a candidate should someone step forward.
