Father and son charged with theft

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Two men were arrested after Arkansas State Police found a stolen car part on their vehicle.

According to a Lawrence County Circuit Court affidavit, the victim told the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office that on April 4, he had a Brinn racing transmission stolen from his shop sometime between November and December 2015.

The affidavit stated that a witness told deputies he went to Blake Liscomb’s house in Hoxie and identified the stolen transmission in Liscomb’s white Monte Carlo.

On April 5, a search warrant was executed at Liscomb’s home to find the transmission.

The transmission was found on Liscomb’s car, which is jointly owned by him and his father Charles Liscomb.

Both men were charged with theft by receiving.
