JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police arrest three men after a traffic stop on Saturday night.

According to a Jonesboro Police Department incident report, an officer stopped a green Toyota Camry in the 2300-block of N. Church Street just a little before 8:00 Saturday night because of a large crack in the windshield obstructing the driver’s view.

The officer observed the driver, Philip Beebe, 33, of Jonesboro trying to hide something on the left side of the driver’s seat.

When the officer asked for Beebe’s driver's license and proof of insurance, Beebe told him that he did not have it on him.

The officer also made contact with the passengers in the car, Anthony McMillan, 33 and Patrick Ragsdale, 49, both of Jonesboro.

The officer had dispatch to run all three of their information. Dispatch told the officer that McMillan had seven active warrants with four out of the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office. He also had a bench warrant out of the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office and was a probation absconder.

Ragsdale was also on felony parole.

The officer took Beebe and McMillan into custody and had Ragsdale to get out of the vehicle.

Beebe gave officers permission to search the vehicle. That was when they found a black Taurus revolver in the driver’s side door under gloves.

The officer had dispatch to run the gun and it came back stolen out of Paragould.

At that time, officers arrested Ragsdale for parole violation.

All three were taken to the Craighead County Detention Center.

Beebe was cited with driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. He was given a court date and left in the custody of the Craighead County Detention Center in lieu of an $845 surety bond. He is also being held in lieu of a probable cause hearing for felony theft by receiving.

McMillan was cited on several failure to appear charges and with a given a court date and left in the custody of the Craighead County Detention Center in lieu of a $615 cash bond. He is also being held on warrants out of Craighead County and extradition to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office.
