IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man who is not allowed to own a gun on firearm charges in Izard County.

According to a news release by the Izard County Sheriff’s Office, Jeffery Chase Moser, 27, pawned off two pistols at a pawn shop.

Moser is not allowed to own a gun because he’s a convicted felon.

On top of the two counts for possession of a firearm, Moses also tested positive for several illegal drugs.

He is in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $15,000 bond and a probation/parole hold.

According to a report by the Associated Press in 2012, Moser was in jail and a man managed to smuggle drugs to him inside a Bible.
