Man arrested in theft case

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - The Craighead County Sheriff's Department arrested a man in connection to a large theft case.

According to the sheriff's office, Quincy Jaxson was taken into custody Tuesday after being arrested at his home.

He was charged with residential burglary and theft.

Deputies say he stole items worth over $4,000.

The department said some of the stolen merchandise was returned to its owners.

Jaxson was already on parole.

His bond was set at $50,000.

Jaxson is set to appear in court again on June 29.

The sheriff's department said the theft case is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.
