MONETTE, AR (KAIT) - Police search for leads on three suspects after a gas station robbery.

The Monette Police Department is investigating an early-morning robbery at the Flash Market gas station, 100 E Main St.

Police arrived at the convenience store on May 27 after a store employee noticed the cash register was open and the store appeared vandalized.

According to an incident report, the phone lines and the alarm system were cut.

The report states, three men, wearing black or navy blue hoodies and gloves, broke into the store around 1:30 a.m.

The surveillance video footage shows the men walking around the store taking the cash out of the register and removing the safe from the store manager's office.

The video did not give a clear picture of any of the suspects.

After leaving the store, the video shows the men returned to the gas station at 2:10 a.m. attempting to cut the video camera wires.

According to the report, the trio of suspects got away with approximately $3,960 along with the floor safe.

The safe was located by a Mississippi County sheriff's deputy south of Manila on Highway 77 Friday.

Law enforcement confirmed with the store manager it was the Flash Market's safe.

The report states the Monette Police Department still has no leads on any of the suspects.
