JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Just days after her arrest for cutting a man with a knife, a Jonesboro woman found herself behind bars again on a similar charge.
Police arrested Angela Kitchens, 44, on suspicion of aggravated assault early Monday morning at a home in the 2000-block of Belt Street.
According to the initial incident report, Kitchens threatened 59-year-old Odis Prunty with a large knife she grabbed from the kitchen.
When asked if he believed she would carry out the threat, Prunty told an officer she had stabbed him a week before.
Prunty also said Kitchens violated a no-contact order; however, according to the report, dispatch did not find a valid order.
Officers asked Kitchens about the incident, and she denied it, according to Detective Vic Brooks.
Police seized the knife and took Kitchens to the Craighead County Detention Center to await a probable cause hearing.
