CAVE CITY, AR (KAIT) - UPDATE: So a wanted man and deputies walk into a restaurant and you can guess what happened next.

Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts says Jonathan Miller is in custody after walking into E&B Bigger Burger, 2170 N Central Ave. in Batesville Tuesday.

It just so happened the sheriff and a few deputies were dining in the same restaurant when Miller walked in with his mother. The sheriff's group was in the area to pick up a car involved in Monday night's chase.

Miller tried to run away, but deputies arrested him.

According to the sheriff, drugs were found on Miller when he was arrested.

Miller is now in the Independence County Detention Center.

A deputy involved in a pursuit ended up in the hospital. Now authorities are searching for a suspect.

Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts tells Region 8 News the chase began Monday just before 11 p.m. near Cave City. Deputy John Marlow attempted to stop a white, 2012 Chevy Malibu.

However, once the suspect, identified as Jonathan Miller, saw the deputy he took off.

The deputy chased the 30-year-old man to Mount Pleasant and then to Cushman.

Counts states the Miller turned right on Collie Town Road in Cushman. About four miles down the road is where the deputy crashed his unit.

Deputy Marlow was sent to a Batesville hospital and released after sustaining minor injuries, according to the sheriff.

Izard County sheriff's deputies reportedly found the car a few more miles down the road, abandoned. It was towed back to Sharp County.

Authorities are still searching for Miller, who before the chase, is wanted for residential burglary, theft of property, theft by receiving, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also wanted on a number of outstanding, misdemeanor charges.

The sheriff's office is working to file a new charge of felony fleeing after the latest incident.
