A-State adds televised game for 2016

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State University's football team now has five games so far for the 2016 season that will be televised.

The SEC Network announced Tuesday that it will televise A-State's September 10 game at Auburn.

The game is A-State's second of the season and is set for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Red Wolves and Tigers first played in 2006.

This year will make the second time over the last four seasons the two programs have faced each other.

In addition to the game at Auburn, A-State's other televised games include:

  • September 16 at Utah State on the CBS Sports Network
  • October 5 against Georgia Southern on ESPN2
  • November 3 at Georgia State on ESPNU
  • November 17 at Troy on ESPNU

The Red Wolves will have other television opportunities that will be announced as they are finalized.
