FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) -

Forrest City police arrested a convicted felon Tuesday after they said he had loaded firearms in his car.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, they got a call about a man waving a gun in the air around the Cope Cove apartments.

Officers arrested Jerry Baker after a traffic stop  and charged him with three counts of possession of a firearm by certain person, a class D felony.

Police found an AK-47, a 9 mm handgun, and a .22 rifle, all loaded, in his car.

Baker was taken to the St. Francis County Jail.

He is set to appear in court June 8.
