TinkerFest to promote creativity, curiosity

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Visit TinkerFest 2016 to bring out your creative side at the Arkansas State University museum.

TinkerFest is a one-day free event on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The ASU museum plans to bring together engineers, scientists, educators, business people, and tinkerers to provide visitors with do-it-yourself fun.

There will be tinker activities galore both inside and outside of the museum.

There will be many interactive activities including, cardboard house construction, 3D doodler object making, stop motion animation, and much more.

The Arkansas Discovery Network sponsors TinkerFest and it is funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Association.
