JONESBORO -- It definitely made people take a second glance.

The Silver Star gas station on Huntington selling gas for 1.99 a gallon.

Last year at this time, we were complaining about $1.99, and now we're celebrating it.

It was a deal too good for these folks to pass up.

"I own Martin's Glass, and I figured I needed to fill up this old gas hog," said one man.

A buck ninety nine -- many drivers said they didn't expect prices to dip below two dollars ever again.

"You better take a good picture of this because this is probably the last time you'll see it," said another man.

At a price this low, folks are hoping to save a few pennies at the pump this time around.
