College's 'day at the ballpark' to benefit trust fund

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) -

Three Rivers College will host "Day at the Ballpark" at Busch Stadium, July 24. 

The St. Louis Cardinals will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at 1:15 p.m. and tickets are $25 for regular seats in a reserved section in Left Field Loge.

Anyone who purchases these tickets before June 29 will be entered into a drawing to win a two-ticket VIP upgrade.

The deadline to purchase tickets is July 5.  

A limited amount of luxury experience tickets is also available for $250 each and include food and drink in an air-conditioned suite and round-trip transport to the event from Poplar Bluff.

A member of the Three Rivers group will throw out the first pitch, and the Three Rivers College Choir will sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th inning stretch.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Three Rivers Endowment Trust Annual Fund, which helps make a difference in the lives of Three Rivers College students in Southeast Missouri, according to the news release.
