STEELE, MO (KAIT) - Police arrested a woman after they say she attacked her boyfriend with a knife.
The alleged incident happened Thursday night at a home on North First Street in Steele, according to Chief Billy Joe Stanfield.
The victim had a stab wound to his shoulder and cuts on his body, Stanfield said.
The man told officers his girlfriend had attacked him.
Steele police, with the assistance of Pemiscot County sheriff's deputies, arrested the 32-year-old suspect on suspicion of first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
The woman, who police have not identified, is being held at the Pemiscot County Jail.
