JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Two laptop computers and frozen food was reported stolen from the 1st Baptist Care Center on Friday.

According to a Jonesboro Police Department incident report, officers were call to the 1st Baptist Care Center and spoke with a church employee.

The employee said when he arrived to work, he noticed a white, older model Chevrolet pick-up truck with a dark hood parked behind the building.

He said he did not think anything about it because the center feeds needy people and sometimes vehicles break down while they are getting food.

The employee said that when went into the center, he heard a loud noise outside.

He went outside to see what it was and found a box of frozen food that looked to have been thrown onto the ground.

The employee said that two laptops were also stolen from the center but he did not know the brand or serial numbers. He said he would find out that information as soon as possible and give it to police.

While on scene, officers found where the suspect broke into the building. They also found a closet that someone had broken into but the employee said it didn’t seem as anything was stolen.
