Man and children shot at in Blytheville

Multiple attacks in Blytheville

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police are searching for a suspect who reportedly shot at a man while his children in the car were with him.

Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson said it happened Friday night at the intersection of Franklin and Cherry Streets.

Jefferson said the victim had his children in the vehicle with him when the suspect fired three shots at them.

No one was injured during the shooting.

The man told police he believes the suspect started shooting out of retaliation for an altercation that happened two years ago.

Jefferson said they do have a suspect in mind, but the name of that person has not been released yet.
