PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Cyclists in the Ride the Fault Line event stopped in Paragould Monday on their multiple-state trek.

The riders made a stop at the community center to rest.

Steve Jakublwski from Florida said he and his wife have ridden in the event for three years but have not been to some of the states on the route.

He said he has enjoyed his stop in Northeast Arkansas.

“Well it's hot, but it's a nice group of people," said Jakublwski. “It's the people that make the rides interesting.”

Jakublwski says so far the ride has been safe.

Some of the riders even got to check out the city of Paragould during their stop.

The event started in Sikeston and goes through Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

The riders will take off Tuesday morning to head to Kennett.
