CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Deputies arrested a man Monday after they say he threatened construction workers on his property.
Craighead County deputies responded to the incident in the 1500-block of County Road 917.
According to the incident report, 75-year-old Robert Kieninger threatened to shoot a construction worker after the worker was contracted by AT&T to bury a fiber-optic cable on his property.
He reportedly told the worker, "You better be bulletproof."
Kieninger locked himself in the house when deputies arrived and refused to come out.
He admitted to authorities he was upset because he didn't want anyone digging holes on his property.
The report also said he admitted he didn't plan to shoot anyone, nor were there any bullets in the gun.
Deputies eventually placed Kieninger under arrest and charged him with first-degree terroristic threatening.
The weapon had 10 rounds in the magazine when it was found.
