GOSNELL, AR (KAIT) -

Gosnell city workers, police officers and firefighters came together this week to help the city.

According to Police Chief Darrell Watkins, the mayor has been looking for ways to improve the look of the city.

So the police department and other city employees stepped up to help.

Watkins said the three departments helped clean up and paint the “monster mile” in Gosnell.

City workers helped mow the area, the fire department weeded the area and the police department painted the fence.

Watkins said several of the people who helped donated their free time for the project.

He said the three departments were happy to work together for the city.
