JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Cullison's Cards and Games in Jonesboro hosted a Father's Day event on Sunday.

They opened the game room for dads and their children to come out and play cards and board games.

Kier Heyl of Jonesboro joined in on the fun. He said it was actually his daughter Wendy's idea to get the event together.

"She said she wanted to go to Cullison's and play board games with other kids, so we set up an event on Facebook," Heyl said.

Wendy told Region 8 News why she thought this was a good idea for Father's Day.

"My daddy likes to play board games," Wendy said.

She went on to say that this year was the best Father's Day ever.

Many other families also joined Wendy and her dad for the fun.
